Morning schedule

Flexible working hours

Schedule

Administrative work is generally done from Monday to Friday. The usual hours are 09:00–15:00 or until 17:00, with flexibility by agreement.

The work is paid by the hour, so fewer or more hours can be worked by agreement. You work 4–6 days a week, with the exact number adapted to the agent’s preferences. Any sixth working day is agreed in advance.

There is plenty of flexibility, but the team cannot take on someone who is unavailable too often.

Working arrangements

Only morning shifts are worked. The usual hours are 09:00–15:00 or until 17:00. Since the work is paid by the hour, shifts can be shorter or longer by agreement.

The work is office-based, usually in collaboration with other administration agents.

An honest view of the job

It is busy — and sometimes stressful

The work can be demanding at first, as you need to keep track of a large amount of data, documents, records, invoices, deadlines and open tasks at the same time. Concentration, accuracy and good prioritisation are important.

We do not expect you to know everything straight away: there is a lot of information, and it often takes months for an agent to learn it all. Most of the time, an experienced colleague is alongside you to guide you towards a solution and provide support.

Career progression

From basic tasks to a management role

This role offers a realistic opportunity to progress quickly from basic to more complex administrative work, and then to managing a specific area of administration.

Terms

Pay and bonuses

Basic administrative work€10/h
More complex administrative work€11/h
Administration manager€14/h
Hourly rateBased on complexity

The hourly rate depends on the complexity of the work and tasks the employee can handle independently.

≈ €13/h

Including bonuses, the average hourly rate is generally around €13. Expected monthly earnings range from €1,500 to €2,400.

Profit sharing

Your own percentage of company profits

Your bonus depends on your personal percentage in the profit sharing system. Every office employee has their own percentage of the company’s profits, which grows over time.

After two years of employment, an employee can move from employee profit sharing to owner profit sharing, where bonuses depend even more on the company’s profits.

The company’s monthly profits are divided into three percentage-based portions: one for further company investment, one for employee bonuses and one for employees to invest through the company.

Training and development

Getting started with support

0–24 hTrial period

If, within the first 24 hours, we decide that the candidate is not a suitable fit or the candidate withdraws, those hours are not paid.

24–56 hLearning alongside an experienced colleague

The hourly rate is €6.56. During this period, the candidate is not counted as additional help.

56–170 hHelping the team

The candidate is counted as additional help for the team, at an hourly rate of €6.56. If they stay for at least 6 months, they also receive the difference up to €9.50 per hour for those hours.

Please note: the 24–56–170-hour stages can be shorter, and usually are. These figures are the maximum hour thresholds for each stage. During the first 56 hours, you will usually have someone alongside you to train you.

05

Earnings and employment

What €2,300 gross means in practice

All hourly rates and amounts quoted are gross. The relationship between gross and net pay depends on the employment arrangement.
≈ €2,300 gross

A standard schedule of 5 days a week, 8 hours a day, at an average hourly rate of €13, comes to around €2,300 gross per month.

100% SelfCheckIns LTDaround €2,300 net

If the entire payment is arranged through the foreign company, the full gross amount is also the net amount.

100% SelfCheckIns d.o.o.around €1,600–1,700 net

If the entire payment is arranged through the Croatian company, this is the approximate net amount.

The quoted range depends on the number of shifts, type of work, supplements and bonuses. The employment arrangement and final method of calculating pay are agreed before work begins.

1. Positivity

We do not tolerate spreading negativity in the office. If you feel that someone is directing negativity towards you, you are required to report it immediately.

2. Initiative and a willingness to work

With several agents working in the office, someone may try to let others do all the work. There is always work to do, and we want people to take the initiative, even when a task has not been assigned to them directly. A team member who is not proactive is usually identified and removed quickly.

The team decides. Whether someone meets the required standards is usually decided by the agents themselves, rather than supervisors or owners.
